Outside Sales
(2)Outside Sales Representative(1) Fredericksburg, Virginia(2) Frederick and Hagerstown, MD vicinityMcCormick Paints, a manufacturer of quality paint products, is looking to expand our outside sales force. We have 24 locations in Northern Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia and Delaware. Focus would be on creating new sales with builders, painting contractors, property managers and other professional market segments for products sold through our 24 corporately owned stores. YOU must be self-motivated, competitive, committed, possess a positive attitude and be able excel at developing new business opportunities and servicing existing accounts. You must have previous outside sales experience, live in territory and expect to spend the majority of your business time "on the road." Experience in the paint or building/home improvement industry is preferred, but we will consider all sales experienced candidates who are looking to join our growing 50-year-old, family-owned company. Warehouse Staff
MATERIAL HANDLER FREDERICK DISTRIBUTION CENTER
McCormick Paints is currently seeking a Material Handler for our Frederick Distribution Center. The responsibilities for this position include:
Pulling stock to fill orders ~ Loading and unloading incoming freight. ~ Re-packaging damaged goods, which are salvageable. ~ Assisting in routine care, cleaning and upkeep of machinery within the Distribution Center. ~ Assisting other distribution or plant workers when required. ~ Reporting damaged merchandise or other problems immediately to appropriate supervisor. ~ Using handheld scanner.
In order to perform the responsiblities of this position, applicants must be able to: Lift 65 lbs. 5 feet from the floor, and stack paint buckets in the warehouse. ~ Move 55 gallon drums with cart. ~ Stand for several hours, loading and stocking merchandise. ~ Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift. The ideal candidate should be able to perform the responsibilities listed above and possess at least one year distribution-related experience.
