The Chesapeake Bay Trust and McCormick Paints have partnered to create Bay Plate Blue, a branded color inspired by the Chesapeake Bay and the community-driven work behind its restoration. Legacy of the Bay Plate Program
For decades, the Trust’s iconic “Protect the Chesapeake & Coastal Bays” Bay Plate Program has funded watershed restoration, outdoor education, and community-led environmental projects across Maryland. Since 1985, the Chesapeake Bay Trust has empowered schools, local governments, and community groups to take meaningful action to improve local waterways and strengthen outdoor spaces.
