Rockville, MD – June 15, 2021 McCormick Paints, the local leader in paint manufacturing and color trends in the Mid-Atlantic just released its Core 100 Color Collection – a new micro palette of their top 100 colors. Designed in response to the growing need for a more focused collection that easily allows designers, painters, homeowners and color enthusiasts to select, compare and communicate colors, McCormick Paints’ color experts created the new easy-to-use collection.

“The Core 100 color collection was designed in collaboration with our team of color experts who looked at the most popular and trending colors in the market for inspiration,” said Matt McCormick, Vice President of Sales for McCormick Paints. “Our goal was to streamline the sometimes-overwhelming color selection process and put it into an easy to use color deck where our clients will have the perfect amount of options.”

With decades of experience in color trends, McCormick Paints recognizes the power of color inspiration. Though the Core 100 Collection is bounded to just 100 colors, the micro palette makes the most of its limited space, as each color was thoughtfully and artistically chosen to give the user a broad selection. Colors range across the spectrum and include timeless and neutral colors – Super White 100, Lunar 014, and Power Lunch 0572 – to bold and powerful colors – Blue Period 0690, Octavius 0522 and Farmhouse Red 217.

As part of the launch of the Core 100 Collection, McCormick Paints has produced the palette into fan decks, featuring large 3” x 5” color swatches. The new fan decks are available at all McCormick Paints retail locations and are available for purchase online. The Core 100 Color Collection is also available digitally, online on McCormick Paints’ website.
