May 26, 2016 – Rockville, MD – McCormick Paints, a leader in developing architectural coatings for the professional paint market, announced the introduction of their newest product, UNION Quick-Drying Acrylic DTM (Direct-to-Metal). Meeting the market’s demand for an efficient, high use surface DTM, UNION provides a tough, but flexible finish in a semi-gloss sheen, suitable for both interior and exterior substrates.
UNION contains high adhesion properties allowing the coating to be used on a variety of high traffic surfaces not limited to metal, in locations such as schools, commercial space, multi-family housing or institutional buildings. UNION delivers gloss and color retention, paired with superior corrosion resistance, making UNION an ideal choice for structural components requiring a faster return to service, such as metal storage containers, sea containers and refuse containers.
McCormick Paints commits itself to researching the market’s needs and developing product solutions. Casey McCormick, President and CEO, stated, “We are pleased to offer an effective DTM to our existing customers as well as new markets that we haven’t been able to serve previously.”
UNION is now available in 4 tint bases in 1 gallon and 5 gallon buckets at all McCormick Paints store locations throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and North Carolina.
